I I have resisted price increases despite increased costs in remaining open as an AME during the COVID-19 pandemic and the costs of acquisition of the practice.
However, it is no longer sensible to remain in practice without a modest price increase. And like most businesses, costs do not decrease; they increase steadily. Our costs of facility and other ancillary costs have risen, given the general inflation in the US economy.
Medical exams will now be $160, up from $140.
EKG will be $100, up from $60.
Special Issuance fees will be $80, up from $60.
If you need to change AME's because of this I understand. However, It is my hope you will continue to allow us at Spruce Creek Flight Physicals to serve your FAA medical needs. We remain here for you and strive to provide our airmen with the best value in professional services
